Short Bio

 

Gian Marco Ciampa, age class 1990, graduated with top marks and Honered Mention in classical guitar at the Conservatory "Santa Cecilia"  in Rome,

with Maestro Arturo Tallini.

 

He has been a concert performer since he was very young, he played in all over the world (Australia, China, U.S.A., Europe) and performed live on television and radio channels RAI. (On the occasion of Holocaust Memorial Day, 2013, he performed live on Rai 3, in front of the authorities of Government).

 

The most important national newspapers (like “La Repubblica”, “La Nazione”, “Il Corriere Della Sera” etc.) dedicated many articles and interviews to his talent.

 

During his career he won many prestigious international awards including the "Paganini 2012" and the "European Competition of Guitar 2013”: the last one hadn’t been seeing an Italian finalist for more than six years and consequently he was awarded a Medal of the President of the Italian Republic.

 

In 2014, Gian Marco was awarded by the Scientific Committee of the International Competition of Alessandria "Michele Pittaluga", which gives him the prestigious award "Golden Guitar" as young talent.
